Welcome to the Shastice Park Area Field Guide Project blog! Here, students of Jefferson High School, Mount Shasta,CA, will post reflections about their participation in this interdisciplinary project. Students in  Integrated Science, English, and Economics will partner to create a field guide to the park neighboring our school. This guide will give information on the park's man-made attractions as well as on the fauna and flora visitors can see as they hike the surrounding trails. Students will research, write, illustrate, edit, publish, and market this guide for academic credit. They will come here to post about how the process is going.
